Individual Goal Setting:
JAMM members mostly swim for personal fitness improvement. Some of us compete and refer to the USMasters or Pacific Masters calendar for updated information about meets, open-water swims and postal swims. Please see www.pacificmasters.org or www.usms.org and browse their websites. Leaders of JAMM can be asked to identify local, regional or national events that you may find challenging. Coach Mark will be happy to discuss your swimming goals, of course. Once you’ve accomplished your goal, let us know so that you can be recognized for your success. JAMM has reached its four-year anniversary date as of October 31. (Factoid: The little jellyfish in our logo is a direct copy of the pumpkin that was carved for Halloween 2011. Jelly Belles Christine, Elizabeth and Carrie named the club, chose club colors and brought their pumpkins to the pool where Coach Mark lit them for all to see. Take a look at our photos on the Photos tab on this site.)
Parties and Annual Events:
We often get together for coffee after practice, Saturday morning goodies after practice and have great potluck parties. Most Jellies feel that the parties are one of the main reasons they swim.
If you are a drop-in for a workout (do not usually pay monthly coaching fee to Coach Mark), please pay a $10 drop-in fee for the session.
